About Sub Cult

Sub Cult was set up in May 2007 by Aka Carl with the intentions to contribute towards the real techno scene. At first Sub Cult signed for the first time artists like Miche & Mirzinho, Fer BR, Luky RDU plus others. After establishing it’s self over the last year Sub Cult has received support and has seen its tracks being played by heroes such as Wehbba, DJ Preach, Carl Falk, and Eddie Haliwel the list goes on. In 2008 Sub Cult pressed its first vinyl and had an army of quality artists releasing on both 12" and digital, there is more information about the artist within the artists pages.

Sub Cult is always looking for new raw talent and established artists if your music fits, if you want to submit tracks for consideration for release please send a demo pack 320 kbs mp3 to akacarl@subculttechno.com. Please listen to our tracks and compare them to your own, we are not looking for electro or minimal techno so please only send in demos if you think that they fit our label. If your tracks are first-rate but we do not have spaces on our releases we will all ways try to get you a release with one of our associate labels!  

Sub Cult's mission is to contribute to the promotion of Techno music. We aim to primarily promote Funky Techno, Tribal Techno, Melodic, Electro and Groovy Techno. Some of the artists that most influence the "Sub Cult Sound" are Wehbba, Dave Clarke, F.A.T. Collective, D.A.V.E. the drummer, Mauro Picotto, DJ Misjah, Spiros Kaloumenos, Ignition Technician, Dj Preach, Alex Karakasis, Glenn Wilson, Carl Cox, Tom Hades.

Sub Cult aims to gain the best techno music from the finest up and coming techno producers around the globe.

In its first year Sub Cult gained authority and a good reputation and has also received positive feedback from big name artists such as DJ Preach, Wehbba, Pedro Delgardo, DJ Mika, Carl Falk, Marco V, Mark EG, Bryant Baker... we can go on forever, its a long list.
