Sub Cult Techno Torrents

Over the last few months here at Sub Cult we have been very generous in providing a handful of artists pre releases promos in the form of an MP3 pack. These MP3 Packs are for promotional use only, to be played in clubs on the radio and to be charted, same as a normal promo mail out.
For the genuine people out there that enjoyed our pre-releases and savored them it has been ruined by the few people out there that have been uploading them onto file sharing communities. We know it is someone or a couple of people on the list that are doing this as the tracks that we are finding have not been release to the public yet!
This is making us annoyed here at Sub Cult as it is messing with the progression of this particular Techno scene! If you like the music and more importantly play the music out then pay for it! Its not just our label that this is happening to, there are quite a few more out there with out naming names.
We are now going to purge our promo pool list and we’ll only let you have the promo’s if you are a brand name DJ and have provided us feedback, or featured tracks in a Magazine or online chart..
We have a plan in the pipeline that will aid us in tracking down the person or persons that are passing these files out. We are planning on getting many other Independent Techno labels involved in the scheme and of the notification to people of the effects that this has.
If we find you sooner rather than later who is sharing then we will pass these details on to all of the other techno labels that are involved and even the ones that are not.
Keep the scene alive and don’t file share.

Just browsing the sites around the net and came across K90’s chart for October 2008.
Nice to see that Kali - I Just Want is there as his number 2, Don’t ask us about number 8 though, unless thats another Sub Cult label that we don’t know about.
