Bio:

Since his childhood Alejandro Roman has had a keen interest in electronic music and it has created a vital role in his life. Hi early influences that enticed him into the techno scene were Jeff Mills, Juan Atkins and Two Little Boys. His inquisitive nature and perseverance gave him the opportunity to start as a dj in January 1994 under the alias ‘S.O.N’ playing at some of the most prestigious clubs in Mexico city.

In 2000 he started his producing career and went on to stand alongside respected artists including A.J. Mora, Andreas Kremer and Frank Kvitta, playing venues across Mexico and Europe.

His musical productions are heavily influenced by great artists such as Mark Broom, Ben Sims, Joey Beltram. Alejandro’s Latin origins have given his productions a unique touch making them impossible not to dance to. His tracks have been released on digital and vinyl formats through labels such as Sub Cult, Funk Me, Naked Lunch and Vezotonik. These productions, as well as his remixes, continue to shake the dance floors around the world thanks to the support of great artists such as Fer Br, A. Paul, Aka Carl and Elton D.

His dj sets and live acts captivate the audience to a hypnotic and exciting state making him one of the most prestigious funky techno and hardgroove dj/producers in the Americas. It is no wonder that he has attracted the attention of various publications and websites giving him rave reviews; he’s featured in outlets such as as DJ concept magazine in Mexico, Dance LA in Argentina, Top of the Floor in Italy and Trackitdown.net in the UK.
