Bio:

After playing at parties and watching a friend making music, Ukrainian Techno Chief Alexey Kotlyar enrolled at VISHNEVSKAYA CHILDREN’S MUSIC SCHOOL OF MANAGEMENT EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE OF CULTURE 1991 – 1999 and learnt to play the piano. At first he hated the techno sound and thought it’s a simple style of music until he got to see one of his teachers ‘DJ Strontium’ play, this opened Alexey’s ears to techno and he now sees it in a different light.

Between 2001 – 02 he started to focus his attention towards techno while in the studio , in 09 he had his first Techno release on label ‘Unaffected’ this was just the start of many quality releases for Alexey Kotlyar. Collaborating with a number of the world’s best techno labels including Adult, Patterns, SUB CULT, Drakos , Guilhotina and Undershape . His involvement in Tribal, Funky & Disco Techno music led him to start his own label ‘AK Recordings’ signing artists like Thermo, Rydel, Bob D and Gamut.

He now has massive support and popularity among the world stars of techno, DJ’s, Clubs, Radio shows and passionate lovers of the REAL TECHNO SOUND!
