Bio:

Fer BR’s love for techno was inspired in 2003 after seeing techno legend Jeff Mills play. This heavily influenced Fer’s journey into techno and in 2005 Fer fine tuned his techno style playing at various clubs in his home city of Cambados.

Fer BR started to produce in 2006 and by 2007 had his debut release ‘Ole’ on Sub Cult helping to launch and establish the label. There are just 3 words to describe Fer: “Funky, Funky, Funky”! This trademark style of techno has seen releases on some of the most prestigious labels such as Work Hard Play Hard, Patterns and Soul Access. One of his first vinyl releases was a killer remix of Carl Falk’s track ‘Stand Tall’ released on Relatives

Whether DJing or performing a live act, Fer loves to take you on a rapid technical journey, layering tracks on top of each other and playing games with multiple channels and making full use of the on board FX unit. He has showcased his sound and technical ability in clubs across the globe playing alongside artists like Carl Falk , Mark Broom, Darkrow and Aka Carl.

Fer now runs his own Techno label ‘Funk Me Recordings’, his main aim is to inject as much funk into the techno scene as possible, as at the same time keeping you guessing of what is to come next! His artist list comprises of some of the scenes most prestigious artists including Carl Falk, Boriqua Tribez and Raul Mezcolanza. His tracks have been played right across the globe by artists including Ben Sims, Aka Carl.
